-One of top inside/outside threats in Midwest. Can cash in off either block and overpower smaller defenders. Rugged rebounder who gets to offensive glass and converts at a high clip. Like-size defenders struggle against Petersen when she steps out to perimeter. Has the ability to work as Stretch Four with three point shooting from the top and wings. Can but the ball on the deck and attack from wings and baselines in half-court and is smooth in space and transition game. Proven to be an efficient scorer, doesn't force the issue, seeks out mis-match opportunities to get quality scoring opportunities.
