1) I have a ton of respect for both coaches in this one. Molly Kasper (Eastview) and Angie Ohnstad (Lakeville South) both have college playing experience that they draw off of in developing their players. Nice to see veteran coaches who have had long-term success matched up, as a former coach I enjoy getting to see the adjustments great coaches make, and how they utilize their teams strengths. Kudos to both, there's a reason they both have great programs.

2) We'll start with the obvious choice here. Clara Goodman (5'5" 2026 Guard) of Eastview had herself a night. She drilled 8 threes, good for a 24 point outing. She hit from the left, top, and right and the bulk of them were DEEP threes. It's fun to see when a true sniper gets going, and in reality, there isn't a ton you can do to stop it. This is one of those games where a player can really begin to break out and take a big step forward in their game, so keep your eyes open on Goodman.

3) A player who started off as a shooter, but has done a tremendous job or building her game is Finley Ohnstad (6'1" 2024 Guard/Forward) of Lakeville South. She is now a Kansas State (currently ranked #2 in country) commit. When she debuted with Lakeville South it was as a catch and shoot threat primarily. She has really worked on her craft and can now score inside with isos, attack off the bounce and still deliver from deep. She's gotten much stronger and now looks for and recognizes her scoring opportunities. All that hard work really paid off in her development. Finished with 20 points.

4) Dani Coleman (Lakeville South, 6'1" 2025 Guard/Forward) is another player who continues to build on her game and skill set. She is extremely versatile and is thriving in her role and her scoring about has really taken off of late. She knows how to play alongside another strong scorer, and doesn't force opportunities, instead using her high hoops IQ to recognize what is working. Finished with 20 points, scoring on a variety of levels. One thing that impressed is her ability to finish off spin moves, including going back to her left hand, it's tough to defend a spin finish and Coleman excels with them. Crashes down on the glass and is a plus rebounder. Look for her recruiting opportunities to really start taking a surge forward, this young talent fits into any style of play.

5) Hard to get recognized following a 3 point outing, but that is how Bra'ja Torry (5'6" 2025 Guard) of Eastview is wired. She is a throwback pass-first Point Guard, and her ability to create is among the best in Minnesota. Fantastic at beating initial defender off bounce, drawing second defender, and delivering ball to player that was vacated for easy scores. High assist/turnover rate, protects the ball close to frame until delivering the pass. And those 3 points I mentioned early? Those were a strong and 1 finished that helped seal the game away. This is a college coaches dream if you have shooters off the edge and want someone to break down a D.
