This edition of Five Questions & Quick Hitters is with Kardyn Peppler. Kardyn is a 5'7" 2027 Guard from Hortonville HS (WI) & Wisconsin Flight Elite AAU. Thanks for your time Kardyn!

1. After a great summer of play with Wisconsin Flight Elite 2026 EYBL, you have recently picked up some Division I offers, both from Mid Major and High Major programs. Although you won't need to make a decision for quite a while yet, are there some things you already know you'll be looking for in a college program?

Right now I am just exploring my options and looking for a school that best fits me, but some things I feel that I am looking for in a school are a good culture, a community that feels like family, good academics, and a competitive program.

2. Speaking of Flight, you played up with the 2026 EYBL team, as part of an incredibly young core. The team had a great level of success despite the youth, what were some of your favorite on-court memories and events from this past season?

Some of my best memories from this past aau season were having Tyrese Haliburton sitting on our bench and just having the best time playing with an amazing team!

3. You will finally get to play varsity this year as a Freshman at Hortonville, one of the top programs in Wisconsin. What impact are you hoping you can provide in your first season of varsity eligibility?

My goal for this high school season as a freshman is to just help the team as much as I can, see everything as an opportunity, and to learn everything I can from my older teammates and competitors.

4. You've had your sisters Kamy and Kallie go through the basketball journey in front of you. What is some of the advice they've given you in playing High School and AAU basketball and how to handle the recruiting process?

Some advice my sisters gave me for the recruiting process was that it can be very stressful at times but you just have to remember that not everyone gets this amazing opportunity.

5. When you're not on the court, what are some of your other favorite sports or activities?

In my free time when I am not playing basketball I love to do things like play pickle ball with my siblings(things get pretty competitive sometimes) and do other sports like volleyball and track!
