RANDOLPH

Jorey Buwalda

-Traditional Power Forward who does her damage off the low block. Tallied 8 of her Game-High 27 points off offensive rebounds. Quality scorer off low block who will mix in step-through moves or one dribble drives down low. Twice showed a nice spin move leading into finishing moves. Rugged rebounder. Added 4 points in transition game as a rim runner.

Mya Moldenhauer

-Moldenhauer was the top perimeter scorer for Randolph, tallying 13 points. Most of her damage was done on the move, knocking down a pair of pull-up jumpers and finishing another with a nice runner. Did show the ability to stretch the floor as she connected from the arc off the left wing.

Lauren Grieger

-Grieger was a key reserve, coming off the bench and punching in 8 points on the interior. Her first two scores came in the transition game, followed by a score off the right block and finishing the evening with a mid-lane score. Added 4 rebounds.

MARSHALL

Abby Ward

-Ward displayed her three point prowess versus Randolph, connecting from the arc five times on her way to a team-high 18 points. All of her threes came from the left side of the floor, hitting 4 times from the one and the 5th from the corner. Displays excellent range off the wing as well. Projects as a D3, potential scholarship level talent.

Allie Rateike

-Rateike was the 2nd leading scorer for Marshall in their season-opener, finishing with 9 points. Shows range on her jumper, connecting twice from 3, once off the right wing, and a second from the left corner. Assertive offensive player with a bright future. Got to the offensive glass from the edge. Willing to take contact and get to the free throw line.
