Anna Gossling, Johnston (5'5" 2022 Guard)

-Gossling was the 2nd leading scorer for Johnston on the night with 15 points, including 9 points from the arc. She shows 3 point range from the wings and top. Division 1 level talent who has the skill set to work from either Guard spot and does a nice job blending drive attacks with a smooth jump-shot.

Jada Gyamfi, Johnston (6'2" 2022 Forward)

Gyamfi took over in her Johnston debut in the 2nd half, pacing the Dragons with 22 points. The Iowa Women's Basketball commit was dominant on the low block, using her size advantage over a smaller Valley lineup. One of the top 2022s regionally, Gyamfi is a multi level scorer who can finish off the block or stretch the floor as a 3 point shooter.

Sophia Hope, Valley (5'10" 2024 Forward)

-In her debut at Valley the Freshman showed a lot of poise and skill against one of the top posts regionally. Hope was able to work off the low block offensively and showed initial foot work combined with counters to either the baseline or middle. Will look to stretch the floor if she's left open.

Meredith Rieker, Valley (5'9" 2022 Guard)

-Rieker led Valley in scoring with 11 following a 27 point, team-best 27 in their opener. Rieker is an excellent shooter with deep three point range and a soft touch on her release. Scholarship to Division 1 level talent. Has good size and length off the wing and can elevate into her shot.

Aaliyah Riley, Johnston (5'7" 2024 Guard)

-Riley had a strong varsity debut for Johnston. She has sound handles and quickness which make her effective off the bounce beating her initial defender. When help arrives she can get to wing or locate open teammates on the wing. Bright future ahead for the talented Freshman who is a Division 1 level prospect.
